Forty-two laboratory exercises are described. These include observations with a microscope, dissection of a frog, and study of digestion, blood circulation, respiration, and reproduction. Other units concern evolution. The final exercise is a campus field trip. Each section sets a problem, describes procedures for solving it, and has a series of summary questions. There are scattered illustrations done by students at the school.
